Zvijer - Pod balkanskim noćnim nebom
Black Metal
Less than a year after the second album "Navia (Zadah Jalovog Svijeta)", Zvijer has returned with the most sombre material in its opus so far. EP of five songs carries 32 minutes of purebred Balkanian barbaric black metal that is completely inspired by the wraiths from the shadows, who are dragged half-dead across the deserts under the Balkan night sky. Insanus and Knjaz are demonstrating a significantly different approach to the music compared to the previous albums. The songs are longer, more atmospheric, almost like mantras, which will guide you for half an hour through the possessed visions of death and misanthropy which are spread all over the Balkans. Guitars that convey all the coldness that reigns the realms of night, drums that ritually evoke the grim thoughts, and vocals that sing in the glory of the ancient times and the horned gods. With this work, Zvijer is uncovering a completely new face of their sound which will lead you to the new spaces that have yet to be filled with obscurity.
