Ossario was started by Schizoid (already playing guitar in Malauriu, among other bands/projects), even before it would have become a band, as a project in which music-writing was totally inspired by the fascination for catacombs, boneyards and religious grotesque, all themes that are strong in italian and, above all, sicilian culture.

With the virus and then the quarantine hitting the country in first half of 2020, Schizoid had finally found the right mental attitude and time to practically transform Ossario in a new band, finding in Anamnesi (drums) and Krost Von Barbarie (vocals) the proper members to fit in the pestilent vision behind Ossario. In a short amount of time, from spring to winter of 2020, the band worked on some songs and released one EP and one split with Lich, both on tape and CD
